Autumn just has to be my favourite time of the year.  For a landscape artist the colours of the landscape just inspire me to paint.  Where I live, near Rivington you cannot turn a corner without being impressed with what Nature has to offer you.

Inspiration For My Watercolours

undefined

The colours all around me, so inspire me to paint.  So many leaves on the ground. Beech nuts and chestnuts in abundance, with squirrels happily gathering their harvest.

I want for a local walk today around Rivington, shades of Autumn Colours everywhere!

If these trees could talk, I’m sure they’d have a tale to tell.

I could not wait pick up my brushes and put colour down.

I made a start.

Ultramarine Bue, a little Burnt Sienna and some Brusho.

Autumn in abundance.

”Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile."
